I manage Linux hosting for client websites and maintain a hosting stack built around Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MariaDB.

My contribution

My work includes site configuration scripts, per-site PHP-FPM pools, HTTPS configuration with Certbot, file permissions, SSH access, backups, and troubleshooting application and web-server errors. I have also maintained Linode-hosted client environments using Apache and ServerPilot.

Engineering focus

Operating the environment means connecting application behavior to logs, process limits, permissions, and server configuration. I use repeatable scripts and monitoring to make recurring administration easier to support.
